also, i forgot to mention. i have a new email address:

jkaneshige@terpalum.umd.edu

original, i know. hopefully some webcrawler won't come across my blog and add it to a huge database for spam. eh. all my other emails still work, though, as they have all been forwarded to my gmail account, which is where my terpalum account goes to anyways. speaking of gmail, i'm allowed to refer people now. does anyone want a email account with seriously massive storage space but mildly invades your privacy?

i would like to thank all my loyal readers (all five of you) who have conspired to read my blog 1000 times in the five months that i have been paying attention. either it's that my life is so interesting that you can't tear yourself away from the drama and intrigue, or possibly that you have nothing better to do at work than procrastinate by reading the webpages of your friends. i'm going to have to side with the latter.

besides that tidy little footnote, i have something clearly more important to talk about. i'm done. with school, that is. for at least a while. what i'm trying to say is that i've finished everything related to my undergrad degree, and now am waiting for the rest of my life to begin. what that means is...i don't really know. i know i'm going to try and work in japan next year (2005) but i don't have any clue what i'll be up to until then. i'm looking for jobs, seriously looking into hiking a significant part of the at, and thinking about where i'm going to live. now i'm saying i'm doing all these things, but what i've done since my last test is pretty much nothing at all, since i don't know what to do with myself. there isn't really anything i've been putting off for a while...so yeah. any suggestions? besides putting my contacts in...

so should i go to preakness? i'm pretty sure the decision will not be up to me, seeing that my last test is in 2.5 hours, which means that i will be drunk from then until well after the horses run at pimlico. so i guess the decision is up to my friends, because i won't be driving.
